Our little Pyro..............
So this past weekend, Tim, Hudson and I traveled to OhioPyle state park here in PA for a little camping. I wasn't sure how the whole sleeping under the stars thing would go for me since I am now 8 months pregnant and enormous. But Hudson was so pumped to go and just kept saying, "mommy, camping, catch nemo" so of course we couldn't say no. I was actually really glad we went and amazingly enough, I slept most of the night and used my will power to fight the urge of having to make 50 bathroom trips in the middle of the night. It is amazing what the mind can do........
We went with our neighbors and really good friends the Irvings, and spent the night and most of the day up there. We had a blast hanging out by the fire, checking out the natural waterslides and waterfalls and then fishing by the river. It was absolutely beautiful there. The more I see of Pittsburgh in the summer, the more I LOVE it. We had to drive through these small little towns with these unbelievably beautiful farms and I just kept thinking to myself....I could live there and there and there, if only my family lived there too. So I think everyone should start thinking a little bit.....Erica and Tyler are getting closer with moving to CT, which I am so completely pumped about- within driving distance....I am already planning my first trip. Anyway, it really is beautiful this time of year.
So we had a great time and it seems that with every trip we go on, we learn a little more about ourselves and especially our child. Turns out, Hudson is a Pyro. He is definitely related to the Tuttle side of things since Tyler and basically everyone in my family is obsessed with fire. He would not keep sticks out of the fire and honestly thought it was the coolest thing in the world to stick it in and then pull it out and have it flaming up. I have included some pictures.
Anyway, we love you all and hope you are doing great. Only 5 weeks left.....I am definitely counting down the days. I will keep you updated. Tate Almon Mosher is almost here!!

A much needed update..........

So I thought it was about time that I actually posted something different on this blog. How does time go by so fast and why does it seem like a chore to post!! I am ridiculous I know, but sometimes it seems like this is just too daunting to actually do it. Heaven knows I am a mess, and I just need to take the time to sit down and do it- that is all there is to it. Needless to say, there is much to catch up on.
In the most recent news, we had a GREAT time out west. We were able to spend close to a month visiting family throughout Idaho and Utah and had such a great time. It was a much needed break as Tim had been studying for boards up until the time that we left. He took them right at the beginning of the break and did well, thankfully. It was a stressful few months at our house as I was playing single parent and Tim was well, at the library and studying all the time. Thank heaven that is behind us now and we are on to our 3rd year of dental school!! Sometimes I cannot believe how fast it has gone and that we are half way there now. It is very exciting. Tim is enjoying this new semester and starting to get experience in the clinic. I am doing well also- basically buying time until Sept. 18th when this baby comes. For the most part, things have been going well although the no sleep and discomfort is starting to settle in. I am now 33 weeks and am excited to see what this baby is going to look like! It is hard to imagine anything different than Hudson- blonde hair, blue eyes- but it honestly could be the complete opposite. It will be interesting. Hudson is also doing great, still loving cars and everything that goes along with that. Of most recent note, we moved Hudson to his big boy bed the night that we came home from Utah. We purchased a set of"Cars" sheets which ended up to be the best investment of my life. He cannot get enough of his "Cars bed" and has done fabulous sleeping in it. I have included some pictures of the first night that he was able to sleep in his bed. You would think he had died and gone to heaven- he was so excited. I honestly cannot get enough of that little boy. I definitely can max out on the "cars" theme but somehow I just love him more everyday. It will be so interesting to see how he does when the baby comes. Needless to say he is pretty much attached to me. Hopefully he will understand and be able to share when the time comes.
I have also attached some of my favorite pics from our vacation. We seriously were ALL over the place and it honestly seemed like 4 weeks of being there would be enough, but of course, there is never enough time!! Splitting time between 2 families and basically 4 places takes a lot, but we honestly had so much fun and we wouldn't have traded any of it. I spent the first week in Idaho Falls with my family- mainly spending most of out time outdoors. We ended up going to Henry's lake up by Yellowstone for one of the days and seriously had the BEST FISHING TRIP of our lives. We caught 7 fish, maxed out on our limit, and had 5 over 5 lbs. Richard pulled in the biggest fish at 10 lbs. It was huge!! I honestly do not think it could have been better. Hudson of course fell in love with boat. Even just this morning right after he woke up, he asked me if we could go on the boat in the water and catch Nemo. He loves everything about being outdoors. We then spent some time in Holden where I was able to see my grandparents. It was so nice to be able to be with them since it had been a year. Then we headed to Park City for the annual Mosher reunion. It was a blast basically swimming and relaxing everyday. Hudson loved to spend time with his cousins and couldn't get enough of the pool. After that it was back up to Idaho Falls where we spent a couple days in Yellowstone and went to Bear World which was a lot of fun. Then it was back down to Springville for the last leg of the vacation with Tim's family. We just loved every second of it and were so happy to have seen most of you.
Anyway, I better sign off for now. I promise I will be better at updating my blog. I hope you are all doing well.

Happy Birthday to Hudson!!!
Happy 2nd Birthday, Hudson!! Yesterday was a great day. Hudson turned two years old and we had a fun little birthday party for him. My cousin Jake and his girls came over to our house to help us celebrate. As you can see from the pictures we pretty much had a "Cars" birthday, not really on purpose, but of course a lot of the presents he received were from Cars and I couldn't help myself but make a Lightning McQueen cake for him. PS. I don't know why I get myself into certain situations, but of course I thought I could construct this cake out of no where, and at about 4:30, my sister Marci called to see what I was doing and I about had a nervous breakdown because not only did it take me all day to make it, but things were not working out and I basically just made it as I went. All in all it turned out a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Hudson loved it and kept pointing at it and saying "car cake". He was so excited and of course he was spoiled rotten, like usual. His grandma and grandpa Mosher gave him a cars rug to play with which he absolutely loved. You can see him in his pajamas laying on it and stalling to go to bed. He kept saying "bed" and then pointing and acting like he was going to sleep on it. If it was only that easy!! I would definitely put that on his bed if it meant he would actually go to bed and like it! Anyway, it was such a fun day and I am just so grateful for this little boy in my life. He is truly one of my best friends and I don't know what I would do without him! We love you, Hudson!!

My first official post.....
Some may say finally................ I know I have been saying that I was going to get this blog up and running for about two years now, but thankfully, there is always repentance!! Anyway, the Mosher family is doing very well. I should probably update most of you on our life, because it is sad, but we just don't get to see very much of each other with us living on the complete opposite side of the country!
Tim is doing great. He is finishing his second year of dental school here at the University of Pittsburgh and has really enjoyed it. It has been a crazy run, but hopefully things should start easing up here in a month or so. He has mostly been in heavy duty science classes for this first part, and will have to take the first round of boards on the 27th of June......not fun. Heaven only knows how much he has been studying and of course the endless amount he still has to study, but he is doing well and pretty much looking forward to it being over. As am I. Once he finishes this summer semester and then takes boards, he will be ready to head into the clinic and actually start doing some real dentistry. I know he is really looking forward to that and hopefully his schedule will open up a little bit. But all in all, we are so thankful for the opportunity to be out here and having this amazing experience.
Hudson is pretty much two now. I seriously do not know where the time has gone and it seems like I was just holding him in the hospital thinking, "what in the world have I done and do I really take him home with me?" Oh the days of being a new mother.......thankfully those fears and concerns have gone and have been replaced with such immense joy that I find myself just watching him thinking he HAS to be the cutest little boy that I have ever seen......and of course I am not biased. His birthday is coming up on the 16th of this month and I definitely need to get on the stick and get something planned......knowing me and my family, I will procrastinate until the weekend before and then throw something together that he will hopefully love. He is absolutely OBSESSED with "Cars" and cannot stand to put Lightning McQueen and Mater down. He loves everything having to do with the outdoors especially throwing rocks off the cliff in our backyard. He has quite the funny personality and has become a little tease lately. He will go around tickling everyone and then laugh his head off. I am not sure what to do about it because most of his little girlfriends don't love it, but I have not convinced him of that yet. I guess he will learn someday. He is such a fun little boy and so loving- he will constantly come up to me, say "mommy" and give me a big hug and kiss and pat me on the back and shoulder. I love those moments. Oh, and I must mention his unbelievable love for JEEPS. Seriously, he has to be his father's son because he loves our red jeep and can spot other jeeps from a mile away......way before I can even think about finding one. It is hilarious. The only thing I cringed with at first was the mere fact that he calls them "PEE PEE". He cannot say jeep I guess, and so of course, he has to replace it with pee pee. I honestly had to get used to the fact that we would go in public and he would see a jeep and yell at the top of his lungs, "Mommy, pee pee!!" Nightmare. I just had to accept it and have now found myself slipping every once in awhile! Hudson loves to just drive around and look for jeeps and will ask me EVERY morning..... "mommy, where's da da?" which I reply with, "he is at school" and then he asks, "mommy, where's pee pee?" He has to know if we have the jeep that day or if his dad took it. It is pure comedy. I have added a video that Tim and I took as we were out jeep hunting one evening in our parking lot.
As for me, I am doing great.......pregnant, but great. I am now 27 weeks along and getting bigger by the moment!! I swear the pregnant part has never been my favorite, but it is definitely worth all of it. I am due Sept. 18th and we found out it is another little boy!! Tim and I are both way excited to have two little boys. It will be crazy to have more than just Hudson and it may be a bit of a transition, especially for Hudson, but we are looking forward to it. Currently the baby is nameless as we have not been able to come up with a name that we both like, but hopefully Tim will give in as there is a name that I love. But we are keeping our options open so if any of you have any names, let me know. As for life here in Pittsburgh, I really like it. I love being home with Hudson and we are spending many of our days at the pool and playing "Cars". I am so thankful to be able to stay home with him. I can't imagine leaving him. I was just released from the Primary Presidency and although I miss it terribly, it was fun to be able to go to Sunday school with Tim in I don't even know how long. It is definitely weird to be in Relief Society again. But I am taking advantage of my time off in between callings. It is definitely nice. Anyway, I am going to post this just so that I can actually get started on it. I will try and post again today as we celebrated Hudson's 2nd birthday yesterday. It was a blast and I cannot believe where the time has gone. It has gone so fast. We miss you all and love you!
